Origin Of Name:Located on the ranch of the Searight Brothers. " ... the Searight Brothers ... drove in 14,000 head of cattle from Texas to Casper Creek in 1877. They comprised the group that built the famous old stone ranch house near the Platte River which is remembered as the Goose Egg Ranch."
