History:Aladdin Post Office began as the Hay Creek Post Office on June 12, 1888. On October 9, 1889, Hay Creek's name was changed to Barrett and on December 1, 1898, Barrett's name was changed to Aladdin. It was discontinued on December 30, 1964. (Wyoming Post Offices) Aladdin, Crook County. A post office and station on the Wyoming and Missouri Railway, 28 miles northeast of Sundance, the county seat and banking point. Mail daily. (Gazetteer, 1908-9) A small country postoffice in Crook County. Stockraising the leading industry. (Wyoming State Business Directory, 1910-11) Small country postoffice in Crook County, on the W. & M. Railway, 20 miles north of Sundance the county seat. Stock raising the leading industry. (Wyoming State Business Directory, 1922) Small trading center ten miles north of Beulah.
