History:Dillinger Post Office was established on January 12, 1920 with Della C. Dillinger as its postmaster. It was discontinued on November 30, 1935 and its mail then handled by the Moorcroft Post Office. (Wyoming Post Offices) A new postoffice in Campbell County, 31 miles southwest of Gillette the county seat. Moorcroft is the nearest railroad and banking point.
