History:Springer Post Office was established on October 2, 1909 in Laramie County prior to the creation of Goshen County. George S. Smith was the first postmaster. It was discontinued on March 31, 1914 and its mail then handled at Torrington Post Office. (Wyoming Post Offices) New postoffice in Laramie County, in a stockraising section.
