History:Dallas Post Office was established on May 19, 1884 with Josephine Werlen as postmaster. It was discontinued on August 5, 1887 but re-established on December 26, 1888. It was discontinued again on May 15, 1918 and its mail then handled at the Lander Post Office. (Wyoming Post Offices) Small postoffice in Fremont County, 11 miles southeast from Lander.
